Center of the Universe
I like to joke about how the world revolves around my birthday, but I'm only, like, 43% serious. :) But the internet is making me think that it might be true.

I've been watching this video blog for a couple of weeks (Bob recommended it) called The Show with Ze Frank. And TODAY'S entry (8/31) ends with a song called "The Day After Your Birthday"--ON the day after MY birthday. Clearly, I'm the focus of the universe.

Katie and I were emailing back & forth at work today trying to figure out the tiny details of our trip to Florida. We're mostly going to play it by ear, but there are some particular shows that will be a little harder to fit in, so we had to come up with our strategy.

I'm off work tomorrow (company policy that you can take any single day in the week of your birthday as paid leave), and I think it's going to be a day for chores and general laziness. I've got an appointment to have my dishwasher repaired between 8 & 12, then we'll see how it goes. Heading to Grandma's on Saturday morning for another THRILLTASTIC weekend in Freeburg.

I've posted to this blog over 100 times. I didn't even realize it until today, but the 100th post was way back in June.

I'm enjoying seeing who other people pull out of the list of people who share their birthday. Brandon has Mr. T. Can anybody beat that? Let me know.
