Triumphant Return of the Birthday Princess
The first words I heard on my birthday: "YOU FUCKING WHORE!"
It was also 3:11 am.
Apparently one of the girls who lives in my building stole somebody's boyfriend. Which, by the way, is total crap. Nobody can "steal" your boyfriend. Your boyfriend can be a cheating bastard, but he has free will and that means he can't be stolen. The "Other Woman" may not be completely innocent in the scenario, but I think the blame primarily lies with the guy. She may or may not have known the guy had another girl, but he DEFINITELY did.
She must have screamed for a solid 10 minutes. I wanted to open up the window and ask her to stop, but she was clearly a little crazy at the moment.
But the absolute greatest thing she yelled was, "GO AHEAD! CALL 911! DO YOU EVEN KNOW THE NUMBER?!?"
I wore my tiara to work today (because I am the Birthday Princess). I did the same thing two years ago. I couldn't wear it last year because Karen had stolen it and broken it. But in the year between I managed to find another one that looked just like it!
Started this morning at First Watch with Gretchen and Jen. Jen was surly. She's spoiled by her job that doesn't require her to come in until 8:30. So she was quite surly at 7:15. Then I went to lunch with four people from work, we had CPK and I got a birthday sundae. When I got back from lunch, my boss had left a little birthday cake (just big enough for one rose and "Kim") at my desk. She came out with a candle, but I insisted a birthday candle couldn't be blown out unless there was singing first. Hit the Galleria for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with my mom, two aunts, 3 cousins and one tiny second cousin. Cooper seems to look shocked a lot of the time. It's pretty cute.
I am so full. It's crazy.
All in all, a very nice birthday.
